I am very interested in using a Open Source CPU, mostly because I'm not very fond of having closed stuff around; things around RISC-V look really promising. So I collect some stuff here, mostly for myself.

Below are all posts I made about RISC-V, enjoy.

It's happening: RISC-V Boards & Chips

It seems that Non-FPGA RISC-V boards are finally arriving. First the HiFive1, which can be had this year, in a limited quantity, or in February next year. And the OnChip Open-V project is collecting money for a 'release' in 2018, aiming for 70k chips and planning to produce them as long as there is demand.

Nice!

Fedora/RISC-V

It has just been announced that the RISC-V port for Fedora is in a stage where others can help out. Didn’t check this out so far, but maybe I have time to look at it in the next weeks.

RISC-V News Collection

I was talking to a friend about RISC-V and it turned out that he was interested in it, so I decided to start a collection of news and other bits around RISC-V. Every now and then I stalk the ecosystem around RISC-V. I am, as a user, interested in using a completely open source CPU.

The collection can be found here, which is just a page that includes all posting I marked to be about riscv.

There is a lot more out there — but here are some starting points.
